Originally from Mauritius, David set his sights abroad at an early age. At 15, he left for Singapore and completed his International Baccalaurate at the United World College of South East Asia. He then moved to Australia for his tertiary education and completed a Master of Commerce at the University of Queensland. His professional life swayed between the world of entrepreneurship and financial services eventually leading him to be the Head of Innovation for Australia and New Zealand at one of the largest organizations in Australia. Feeling the need for a new challenge, David migrated to Madrid to complete his MBA prior to returning to Mauritius where a new challenge awaited, the Caudan Arts Centre. David was the development manager for this ambitious project and oversaw the entire project from feasibility, strategic direction, construction, and finally management. David continues to be happily involved in the management of the Centre to this day.
