Cindia Amerally-Dupuy is a local composer, songwriter and singer.
She wrote her first song “Triste Triste” at the age of 12 and first performed on stage in 1994.
Cindia started singing in hotels at the age of 17 only and since then, she has been singing mostly cover versions of popular songs of the 80s till date.
Beginning as a background singer in her early days of singing, she has been rapidly spotted by local “Stars” namely Linzy Bacbotte, Alain Ramanisum, Laura Beg, Sandra Mayotte and Gerard Louis, for collaborations either in song writing, or performing as a background singer. She has also been collaborating in international projects with Jean Alain Roussel, Ynis Odua and Daddy Nuttue, and touring in Australia in 2013 with the famous “Firehawks” band, led by Pascal Cimiotti.
In 2016, Cindia released her first Solo Album “Mo Liniver Mizikal”, produced by the famous DJ Jimmy Gassel of Bing Production.
In January 2020, the Hit Music Video “Perdi Ou Leker”, sung in a duet with Tey (performing in France) was released on Youtube; the video has reached more than 2.7 Million views.
For the concert, “Music and Me”, Cindia will be sharing the stage with her husband, Allan Dupuy for approx. 90 Mins of music, which has been beautifully arranged for the concert.
